Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9 pm. It is closed on Thursday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (586) 722-7992. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, kungfuchineserestaurant.com.

Madison Heights is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Madison Heights follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

First time here after seeing this place all over social media and all I can say is donβt believe everything good you see online because all the food was under seasoned, overcooked, and overall not worth it. The waitress working here seem like we are inconveniencing them to do their jobs and make you feel judged and watched the entire time in the worst way. The cart that they roll the dimsum out on, is super loud and gets over stimulating. It doesnβt help that the ladyβs here donβt speak any English and expect you to know their language. Or youβll be ignored and dismissed the entire time youβre here.

Some of the best Sichuan / Szechuan food Iβve had in Michigan. On par with some of the best Sichuan Iβve had in the U.S., and great prices.

My wife and I ate here on a Wednesday afternoon. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient without being overbearing, and the green tea is the best Iβve ever had. We will be putting this place in our weekly rotation. Highly recommended and, I must note, the restaurant super clean!

Came here with my wife for lunch after the Detroit Auto Show. She had previously found this place on Instagram and they were open! (Detroit seems to have a problem with restaurants open on Monday). The interior is simple, but that's ok, I'd rather have simple than gaudy. We started off with Pork dumplings and the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings. Both were good, but the shrimp dumplings were fantastic! And they come in an adorable dim sum basket! For my entree I got the spicy beef dumpling soup. It comes out super hot so you might have to wait a bit just to comfortably eat it, but man, once I did, it was so good! Excellent flavor and spice level. Its the Goldilocks amount of spiciness, just right. And the dumplings? Delight! Did I say I like dumplings?

Came here for Sunday dim sum. Had a god experience. Service was prompt and polite. They had the carts running and you could order additional items from the menu. The chicken feet were not great; could have had more flavor and been much softer in texture. The others were good. The whole fish (made from live fish) was perfection . Beautifully seasoned. Done just right. I would come again.
